For over 18 years of my professional work in the water industry, designing sewage and rainwater pumping stations, I have often had to deal with various connections of pump connections with coupling feet. Most often, the problems concerned small pumps with DN50 flange diameters or threads from 1-1/4 to 2".
The most common problem was the need to switch from a DN flange connection to a threaded G connection in the following systems:
- Pump with thread - foot hook with collar
- Pump with flange - foot hook with thread
By offering customers a wide range of pump solutions and coupling feet, I decided to meet their expectations and simplify the mounting technique by designing and producing my own flange and threaded adapters under the name AKG (Flange-Threaded Adapter).
In this way, a series of adapters/adapters with the following connection range was created:

Adapters AKG can also be used in other places requiring a transition from thread to flange and vice versa, e.g. at non-return valves, gate valves or other connections in pipelines.
