ASAL Control and alarm automatics for 400V pumps with a float - Additional level alarm!

The control and alarm automatics are designed for pumping stations with one pump and have a built-in control float. The main task of the ASAL protection and control automation is to protect the pump against overvoltage and damage and to notify the user about a pump failure and an increasing level of sewage in the tank. Therefore, the ASAL system has its own alarm float informing about the exceeded level, regardless of the fact that the pump has its own built-in float controlling its operation.

1. Alarm - Level of alarm signaling about tank overflow. The operation of this float is independent of the operation of the float built into the pump.

The pump operates in automatic mode thanks to the built-in float. The pump activation level is regulated by the length of the working part of the float cable. It should not be shorter than 12-15 cm. 

The alarm level (float switch) should be set above the pump activation level by adjusting the working part of the alarm float cable and the level of its suspension in the tank. 

Due to the lack of an operator panel, maintenance or repair work in the control cabinet should only be carried out after cutting off the power supply using the Main Switch!

Control cabinet EM4IS ASAL does not include a float, which can be purchased separately. Recommended level signaling set EM4IS ZSP-1.

If the pump power cord is equipped with a mains plug, cut it off and insert the cord into the housing through an appropriate gland. This is the only way to maintain the water and dust tightness of the control cabinet.
