The right selection of the pump is the basis for its efficiency and durability.

Control of a housing estate pumping station EM4IS ASPO is much more demanding than for a home pumping station (despite their often comparable dimensions). Theoretically, the control of pump operation does not differ dramatically, but the responsibility of the system and the expectation of reliability increase much more. That's why in our control cabinets ASPO we apply pthree-level control:

  1. Dry running - the lowest level indicating an insufficient level of liquid to cool the pump motors as well as the risk of air contamination.
  2. Stop/Start - Levels of switching the pumps on and off (alternately one and the other), performed on one float due to the low retention in the tank. The amount of retention is regulated by the length of the working part of the float cable.
  3. Alarm - Level of alarm signaling about tank overflow and activation of the second pump. Additionally, in the event of a failure of the Stop/Start float, the pumps will operate in emergency mode between Dry Run and Alarm.

In manual mode, it is possible to pump the liquid to the Dry Running level, while the pumps are turned on only using the Start buttons on the operator panel.

The alarm works regardless of the Auto - Manual mode.

There is a "0" position between the Auto and Manual modes, which disables all control and notification functions. This does not mean cutting off the power supply, that is what the Main Switch is for!
